Plant Crops
Generally, you need to plant your crops based on your own personal schedule. This is to prevent your crops from withering and dying if you do not make it back in time. Withered crops do not have any uses and it is a waste of your hard earned coins.
If you do not come back in the equal time that it takes for your crops to grow, your crops will wither and die. For example, if a crop takes 3 hours to mature, you have another 3 hours to harvest the crops before they wither. Thus, it is wise to carefully plan your crops according to your time schedule.
If you know that you will not be able to make it back in a couple of hours, plant other crops such as wheat that will take a longer time to mature. Sadly, withered crops do not serve any purpose and will only waste your hard earned coins and time.
Trees and other items
Next, do not waste your coins to purchase items such as trees or other items that you can receive as gifts. This is because you can easily acquire them for free from your neighbors.
The costs of purchasing a tree outweighs the benefits tremendously. Purchasing a tree costs 700 coins, but you will only earn 40 coins every 2 days. If you want to have trees on your farm, I highly recommend asking your neighbors to send them to you as gifts.
If you want to get more coins fast, you should start purchasing seeds. You should gradually start to remove trees that do not make much profits for you because you will need to use the space to plant more crops later on.
Neighbors
Did you know that having neighbors can help you earn coins too? After adding a certain amount of neighbors, you will have the option to expand your farm which equals to bigger profits.
Remember to send invites to all your friends in your lists so that they can join you to play this awesome game. After you have a complete list of friends playing FarmVille, remember to help them out and send them gifts.
Always go to the "My Neighbor" section of your menu. This section provides information about your neighbors and also shows you whether you have visited their farm today. When you visit a neighbor, you will be prompted with a question asking you whether you would like to help your neighbor with a chore. Finish the chore and you will receive some coins and exp.
